Capt. Greg Magee and his tournament team aboard the “Blue Fairways” have been competing in professional Lake Michigan salmon and trout tournaments for many years. The “Blue Fairways” tournament team, comprised entirely of seasoned charterboat captains and experienced tournament anglers, have enjoyed a great deal of success over the years, with over 75 top ten finishes, including 5 first place wins. Team Blue Fairways competes annually in tournaments in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and up and down the coast of Michigan. Capt. Greg has won professional tournaments in three different states, placed in the top 5 multiple times in each of the four states.

Raymarine electronics have contributed significantly to the success of the “Blue Fairways.” From the auto-pilot maintaining productive trolls in less than ideal conditions, to the Sirius Satellite Weather enabling the crew to locate and monitor sea surface temperature breaks, to the Bi-data at the back deck allowing the crew to keep apprised of depth, speed, and temperature changes, as well as, the sonar and GPS units to find and record productive waters that are holding the fish necessary to compete consistently on the tournament trail.
