We all have certain places in this beautiful world of ours that we have been to, or would love to go to, that have an aura that is beyond explanation or description. I think that fisherman specially have some or a lot of these places. Some may say the remote locations of the eastern Bahamas, while others will talk about the deep waters of the pacific or perhaps even the tranquil backcountry of the everglades and flamingo. For me though there is no other place that personifies this more than the amazing waters, and islands, of our Fort Jefferson National park and the waters of the Dry Tortugas. Read more…
Capt. Denny Blue has over 22 years as a professional charter captain and guide. Capt. Blue has fished extensively both in the U.S. and internationally including Australia, New Zealand, Venezuela, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico and the Bahamas. Capt. Blue has run a successful salmon charter business in Onekama, Michigan since 1984. In addition, he has guided in the Charlotte Harbor area of Florida since 1993 specializing in light tackle and fly-fishing. Capt. Blue is a certified Federation of Fly Fishers Casting Instructor. He is also a member of the Federation of Fly Fishers, IGFA, Onekama Area Charter Boat Association and the Michigan Charter Boat Association. Captain Steve Bent has been a member of the Raymarine Pro Ambassador team for nine years. He owns and captains the Free Spirit, a charter boat that runs out of Cape May and Margate, New Jersey. He fishes from the Delaware Bay to the offshore Canyons and has been chartering from South Jersey for over thirty years. 
Harry Crump’s family fishing team is comprised of a father, sons and nephew. With the team’s busy schedule, it is hard for them to coordinate time off, but they manage to get it done. The competition is fierce on the SKA kingfish trail, but the competition and fellowship is well worth the effort. They are one of the lucky teams to have several great sponsors. Without sponsorship, Team Rocketman, could not travel and compete on the busy tournament schedule they keep.
