Capt. Greg Magee and his tournament team aboard the “Blue Fairways” have been competing in professional Lake Michigan salmon and trout tournaments for many years. The “Blue Fairways” tournament team, comprised entirely of seasoned charterboat captains and experienced tournament anglers, have enjoyed a great deal of success over the years, with over 75 top ten finishes, including 5 first place wins. Team Blue Fairways competes annually in tournaments in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and up and down the coast of Michigan. Capt. Greg has won professional tournaments in three different states, placed in the top 5 multiple times in each of the four states.

Over 160 anglers from 11 states came to compete at the second event of the 2009 Professional Musky Tournament Trail on May 2nd and 3rd located on the Fox Chain of Lakes in northern Illinois.
